Natural Calamities of Bangladesh

Bangladesh is called a country of natural disasters. Wildfires, droughts, earthquakes, violent storms, floods, landslides are the most common natural disasters. Among these natural disasters, Nor’easter occurs the most. Sometimes it winds in a terrible form.

This storm often occurs at a time when the sky is covered with dark clouds and gusty winds blow. Children enjoy picking mangoes under the mango tree. Children enjoy picking hailstones. Sometimes it causes destruction beyond description. Every year cyclones destroy our lives and properties, floods take everything from rivers and seas, and earthquakes destroy our lives, homes.

Cold winters, fog storms disrupt the normal functioning of our daily lives and sometimes destroy people. Almost everything that comes in its sweep is destroyed. Houses are blown away, huge trees are uprooted. This causes a lot of damage to people. They can make up for the damage only after the intensity of the disaster is over.

Not only that, nature is also losing its balance due to the increase in heat due to carbon dioxide. So due to the greenhouse effect the natural level of sea water is rising. After any natural disaster people who become homeless have to depend on other people’s relief and donations.

In fact, after any disaster we become desperate. We cannot stop them. We can only take some steps to reduce the suffering of the victims. We can create awareness among the people and train them on how to protect themselves from terrible and deadly natural hazards.
