Study tours are very educational and instructive. From a study tour, we can gather new experiences, knowledge and wisdom. Today I am going to write about a study tour that I enjoyed. I got the opportunity to go to Dhaka city with my friendly teachers during my college life.

I had a strong attraction towards Dhaka since childhood and I had strange thoughts about the name Dhaka. But Dhaka has remained a fictional place for me till now because I could not see it with my own eyes. On the appointed day, we left for Dhaka in a microbus with my friends and teachers. Our journey was for three days.

During our short stay in Dhaka, we went from place to place. While passing through Nawabpur Road, we were fascinated by the beautiful view of big shops. We went to Gulistan, D.I.T. Avenue and Motijheel commercial area. The wide and spacious National Stadium, Baitul Mukarram Mosque, the tall buildings of Motijheel commercial area, GPO and Bangabhaban all fascinated me.

But the latest expansion of Rorna, New Market, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka and Tejgaon industrial areas have presented a completely different scene. Everything about them is new and modern. The Medical College, University, Salimullah Muslim Hall, High Court, Engineering Institute, Secretariat, Hotel Sheresh and Sonargaon are designed according to modern taste.

I also visited Zia International Airport and saw the planes taking off and landing. This study tour below was of great interest to me. I expanded my knowledge and experience through the tour. So the memories are forever etched in my heart.
