Women have a lot to contribute to society. Women constitute about 50% of the world’s population. They play a huge role in human civilization. It must be admitted that although women have always worked inside the home, today they are entering the workplace outside due to economic needs or the desire to establish an individual identity.
Therefore, it is difficult for them to maintain their traditional role in the workplace, because if they want to survive by competing with men, they have to prove their worth twice. If we delve deeper, we will see that the real condition of women in our society is not that good.
In the existing socio-economic system, women are exploited in various ways from childhood to old age, girls are born into an undesirable world. They are limited to domestic work. Some of these girls can attend school. But once they get married, all their work stops.
They are not allowed to go alone, eat the best food, raise their voices, and even make any decisions about their marriage and education. Women have the right to participate in various types of work. They have the ability to present themselves differently. If they get equal rights in education, they can do much better than men and build their lives through education.
Again on the question of marriage, their views should be considered in the selection of their life partners to avoid early and unequal marriages. They should not be dominated by men. They should consider men equally in decision making and if necessary, men and women should eat equal food.
We need to think about the physical health and mental condition of women because today’s girls will bear the responsibility of tomorrow’s women and the new generation. We need to change our attitude towards wasting money on girls’ education and investing in boys.
Currently, the government has taken some positive steps to encourage women’s education such as providing stipends to girl students, hiring more women teachers etc.
Currently, women are playing a significant role in our society. They are not just daughters, wives and mothers; they are policy makers, administrators, Prime Ministers, doctors, engineers, teachers etc.
